National Human Genetic Resources Center of NHC
The National Center for Human genetic Resources (NHRRC), approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Science and Technology, is a new type of national scientific research institution built in Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Beijing, relying on the Institute of Science and Technology of the National Health Commission.
The National Center for Human genetic Resources has an area of 22992 square meters and has four national medical science and technology public service platforms. These include: (1) the “National Base for sharing Human genetic Resources” approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology; (2) the “National population and Reproductive Health Scientific data Center” approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology; and (3) the “National demonstration Base for the training of innovative talents” approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology; The National Center for Hematopoietic Stem cells of umbilical Cord Blood approved by the National Health and Family Planning Commission. Has formed around the biological genetic resources, perinatal stem cell resources and medical health big data resources and other scientific and technological resources, open to the community to share national medical science and technology Service Centre
The National Center for Human genetic Resources adheres to the principle of opening up and sharing and aims at “building public service platform, creating collaborative innovation center, building advanced technology platform and cultivating advanced technology transformation base”. Based on the location advantages of Beijing’s “National Science and Technology Innovation Center,” and utilizing the policy and environmental advantages of Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation demonstration Zone, and through the effective integration of resource elements and intellectual elements, the establishment of resource management, scientific and technological innovation, public services, The national mass entrepreneurship and innovation platform for talent training and achievement transformation.
